A lookbook post has been long overdue as my wardrobe has been filling up with some beautiful activewear that I’ve been meaning to share with you. As the heat of summer comes I often find I tend to only wear sports bras and shorts when I’m working out, the problem is these pieces don’t carry through to the colder months and aren’t always the best investment. This lookbook showcases light-weight items that can seamlessly transfer from summer to autumn.
This look is what you’ll find me sporting every Sunday – relaxed, comfortable and perfect to take me from Barre to Brunch.
This look is one of my favourites, with a timeless navy and red combo. The leggings are high waisted, which for someone who likes to workout in a sports bra is a must. They are incredibly tight fitting, so pulling up your leggings every five seconds in a workout class won’t be a problem. The Navy MZ bag is the perfect size to carry you from work to workout.
These leggings from PE Nation are high waisted and extremely flexible, perfect for a run or HIIT workout. The coloured waistband which isn’t pictured here has a burst of preppy yellow, making this a sporty all american look.
This look I could wear all day, let alone for an hour in the gym! The Alo Yoga Warrior leggings are my favourite; supportive, stylish and airy… literally. The jumper from LNDR is made of Extra-fine merino wool, creating an ultra-soft luxurious hand feel.
This LNDR jumper and White Lanston legging pairing is the closest my workout looks have ever come to a Tommy Hilfilger ad. The paneling of the Rhett Side Panel Leggings gives both ventilation while working out as well as eye catching design and texture to the look.
This all in one Ombre leotard is perfect for my Ballet Blast class. It’s compact spun yarn makes the piece both highly durable and moisture wicking, keeping you nice and cool as you sweat.
