NAME OF COMPANY:

Pana Chocolate – http://www.panachocolate.com

WHAT IS IT:

Our new favourite raw chocolate, made with the most natural ingredients, and with so many gorgeous flavours to choose from, including Coconut and Goji, Mint (this is our absolute fave btw!), and Fig and Wild Orange. What’s even more wonderful is that they provide different packaging for special occasions too, so if you want to send some to a friend or a loved one on their birthday or ‘just, because’ (always the best kind of chocolate, right?), then Pana can provide just that!

WHEN CAN YOU EAT IT:

Ok, so when is there not a good time to eat chocolate? On a more serious note though, these bars come in extremely handy (though also totally cute) packets, whereby if you want to save a square or two for a rainy day (yep, we don’t know much about that either..) then the light cardboard packaging, which is also designed with vegetable inks, allows it to remain solid and not melt in your bag for when you want it at a later date – win/win! Having said that, the individual chunks are perfect for a little something sweet after dinner, an elevenses snack or even a pre-workout energy booster, without any of the guilt of a normal choccy bar!

THE IDEA BEHIND THEM:

Pana Barbounis (founder of Pana Chocolate) most definitely aims to provide chocolate lovers with an indulgent, though incredibly healthy chocolate-eating experience. The ingredients are sourced organically and ethically from all around the world, which is completely self-explanatory once you taste just how rich in flavour they are! The luxurious experience of even unwrapping a Pana chocolate bar is a great one, almost likened to how Charlie (from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) felt when he opened his Wonka bar (well, we can imagine!).. and trust us, you will want to saviour every mouthful.

HOW CAN YOU GET YOUR HANDS ON A PACK:

Not so easy for us Brits, however if you happen to be down under, there are actual Pana Chocolate shops in Australia (we know, serious country envy right now!)! It’s super simple to purchase some Pana Chocolate bars or gift packs in the UK though, if you head to Planet Organic, Whole Foods Market, As Nature Intended, and many other selected independent stockists worldwide. However, if you head over to their website (link up the top) during August, you’ll be at the checkout in no time.

WHY WE LOVE THEM:

As some of you may know, we simply cannot get enough of anything even vaguely chocolatey, however aiming to keep it plant-based, vegan and refined-sugar free can make fulfilling this craving sometimes tricky. Whilst munching on a square (or bar) of Pana chocolate, you don’t feel as though you are having something which is necessarily a healthy alternative to it’s unhealthy counterparts as the chocolate is so perfectly rich and ultimately 100% satisfying! We will stop now, as we think you probably get the gist.. we LOVE Pana Chocolate!
