The Ingredients
1 cup almonds
1/2 cup pecans
1 cup pitted medjool dates, chopped
1/4-1/3 cup cacao powder
pinch of salt
CHOCOLATE GANACHE:
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
Juice 1 lime
1 cup of cacao powder
2 tablespoon chilli flakes
Method
Start by grinding the almonds in a food processor. Add the remaining ingredients and process to combine into a dough. Keep blending until completely combined and sticky. Press into a cake tin, pressing slightly up the sides to create a tart shape. Put in the fridge whilst you make the ganache.
For the ganache, start by melting the coconut oil. Take off the heat and stir in the maple syrup, lime juice,and cacao powder. Let cool, before pouring on top of the base. Pour over the base and sprinkle over the chilli flakes. Put in the freezer to chill until set. Enjoy!
